I am a football fan who has enjoyed - and endured - lower league football for many years. It has recently come to my attention that I have a lot to say during the matches that I go watch so I decided that I should probably write down these thoughts and see what people think!
My intention is to visit different grounds across the lower leagues of the English football pyramid and discuss my experience through this blog. I would like to give my opinion on the game itself, of course, as well as showcase the incredible things that are on offer throughout the these leagues, including the atmosphere, the food and the grounds themselves. The games I will be watching and writing about will not involve my team (I will still be watching them, of course) as I want to be able to view the games without the attachment I have to my club and be able to give my honest assessment without the tinted glasses. This blog may take a different course along the way but I am excited to see where it takes me.
With my family commitments and season ticket, I'm not sure how many games I will be able to get to but I look forward to visiting more grounds and getting to write about the game I am so passionate about. I hope this platform will give me the opportunity to spread the word about the wonderful work being done at clubs who operate out of the public eye.
